First introduced back in 1997, the Luminette was one of those Aha! design moments that our customers still cannot get enough of! Fast forward to 2022, and this exquisite privacy sheer’s hardware operation has been redesigned. The SofTrak hardware system pulls like a drape and tilts the vanes simply with a rotation of the new ergonomic wand, and can also be motorized with the new PowerView Gen 3 * more on this in a bit *. “Halo” by Hunter Douglas is the latest innovation in the Silhouette window shading collection. Unmatched in the industry, Halo’s multi-directional vanes will tilt up, tilt down, or align anywhere in between, and will easily integrate with the new PowerView Gen 3 automation. The dual-layer and vane overlap ensure privacy with light controlling options in an enhanced product line. Earlier this year we impressed ourselves, and our customer too, with the fabrication and installation of this specialty window covering project! Angle-top windows are normally not much of a challenge, but when each window spans sixteen feet and the customer wants it to be operational and motorized, that becomes a challenge that our window covering pros we’re happy to accept. The specialty window coverings are honeycomb shades customized to lower from the top down with matching motorized honeycomb shades below.
