In The Office, Sustainability Is Hard At Work
With every year’s new innovations in flooring, we are in awe of the fast track to more sustainable products. Enter Shaw’s latest ReWorx! A new movement in the way commercial carpets will work. A patented hybrid made of 100% PET (polyethylene terephthalate) fiber. This type of fiber is made from recycled plastics such as water bottles and is 100% fiber - no backing, and no glues. What got our attention is the ReWorx program, which simply stated that when the carpet has lived its life, Shaw’s ‘Return Reclamation Program’ will pick up the carpet, break it down through pelletization, and use those materials to make a new product.
