Let’s Talk Turkey
Do you have company coming for the holidays and want to do some decorating before your guests arrive? The time to start that process is now. As of this writing, we are about 11 weeks away from Turkey Day, and the countdown to the holidays is on! For custom fabric treatments: draperies, upholstery, and some custom area rugs, you’ll want to allow a minimum of eight weeks for completion from the time you place your order.

How To Choose High-Performing Textiles
When it comes to high-performance textiles, there are many considerations you should make before the purchase and it’s good to know that there are ratings to guide you. Whether a fabric selection or carpet selection, it’s all about the fiber!
Fabrics - top considerations:
For reupholstering your furnishings, or recovering your cushions, be sure to select an upholstery weight fabric of at least 50,000 double rubs.
What method of cleaning are you interested in? If you want to be able to use bleach, identify that the fabric is specified to clean with bleach.
carpet - top considerations:
Look for “Indoor/Outdoor” or “All-Weather Construction”.
Pet-friendly, mold & mildew-resistant.
Choose a lightweight rug for ease of cleaning and relocating.
Do consider the fiber and the weave of the carpet. We recommend Polypropylene.
